No doubt you have heard of authors who have made it big but have had many rejections before being spotted. The trouble with rejection is it can send you down the path wailing:

“I’m not good enough…” Along with huge dollops of self-doubt. Suddenly your confidence has spiralled into the abyss.

I’ve known people to get cross, and a few, even sent off angry emails to the publisher telling them they have no idea what they’re talking about.

Really?

Sorry – in the publishing world it means you will need to grow a pair.

Take heart. Take the reject out of the equation – eject those thoughts right out of your head – easier said than done, I know.

Rejection happens. Stick with it. If you enjoy writing – do just that. Keep writing! Its free therapy if nothing else

  1. My programmer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.

  5. With havin so much content and articles do
you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My blog has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it
appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help protect against
content from being stolen? I’d certainly appreciate it.

    1. I think I answered this question. If someone wishes to steal my stuff, then they’re not creative. It has to come from the heart, though I guess many things are repeated, we are a vast community.

Copywrite helps protect, but not guaranteed. I think there is a symbol that can be watermarked over your work to stop it being cut and pasted as well.

      Hope this helps.

I have heard great things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?
Any help would be really appreciated!

    1. I guess its a personal thing. WP works for me. I also dont want to spend vast amounts of money. I think you may be asking the wrong person about importing your content into another platform because I simply do not know? Maybe I’ll put the question to some of my writing buddies, if I get a good response, I’ll let you know.

    2. I’m sure I responded to this, but cant see the answer! At a risk of repeating myself. If you feel you need to move then do. If you have the money to spend its up to you. It all depends I guess on how important this is to you. I’m getting on okay with WP at the moment.

The text in your article seem to be running off the
screen in Safari. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to
do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let
you know. The design and style look great though!
